Bu tor calon reit ar y diwedd i'r carfan datblygu Aberaeron heno, wrth i Dreigiau Emlyn cipio'r gem o'u gafael mewn diweddglo dadleuol.

Er i Aberaeron creu digonedd o pel trwy eu llinell wrth Hefin Williams a Llyr Davies, y Dreigiau oedd y cynta ar y sgorfwrdd gyda cais allan yn llydan a aeth heb ei drosi. Bu'r blaenwyr yn cwblhau'r gwaith caib a rhaw, wrth i Lewis Tomlins, Sam a Matt Vaux a Osian Davies mynd trwy mynydd o waith.

Yn dilyn y toriad, welon y par yn y canol - Kieron Ethridge a Iwan Evans yn effiethlon iawn, a Bedwyr Davies unwaith eto yn taclo a rhedeg popeth. Crewyd cyfle wrth i Hefin Williams torri'n glir o sgarmes a dadlwytho i'r mewnwr chwim, Tuds Jenkins a ddaeth o hyd i'r gwyngalch, tan y postion. Trosiwyd y cais gan yr eiliydd, Steffan Jones a fu'n amlwg iawn ei hun yn yr ail hanner.

Wrth i Aberaeron ddod a pob aelod o'r carfan o 29 i'r cae am o leia 20 munud yr un, edrychon nhw i cau'r gem i lawr trwy cario brwd ac amddiffyn grymus.

Fel hynny buodd hi tan hyd at bron diwedd y gem, wrth i'r Gwylanod synhwyro llywddiant nodweddiadol. Yn anffodus, doedd ffawd ddim ar ochr yr ymwelwyr, wrth i cic trwyddo gan y Dreigiau dilyn at cais cosb, wrth i'r dyfarnwr gweld camwedd gan yr amddiffyn a rhoi saith pwynt a'r gem i'r tîm adre.

There was heartbreak at the death for the Aberaeron Dev. side tonight, as Dreigiau Emlyn took the honours in controversial circumstances.

Though there was plentiful lineout ball from the impressive Llyr Davies and Hefin Williams, Emlyn were the first on the board, with a try out wide. The forwards, such as Lewis Tomlins, Sam & Matt Vaux and Osian Davies got through a mountain of work as Aberaeron looked to regain parity.

Following the break, the centre pairing of Kieron Ethridge and Iwan Evans became increasingly effective as did wing Bedwyr Davies whom tackled and ran everything. A chance was created when Hefin Williams picked up from a scrum and bounded towards the line before a beautiful offload to the supporting scrum half, Tuds Jenkins whom reached the whitewash for a try by the posts. The try was converted by replacement, Steff Jones, whom himself had a great outing in the second half.

As Aberaeron gave an opportunity to all members of their 29 man strong squad for at least 20 minutes each, they looked to close the game out and protect the lead through strong carries and solid defence.

That's how it stayed until almost the very end, as the Seagulls sensed a notable victory. Unfortunately, fate was not on their side, as a kick through by Emlyn resulted in a penalty try, after the referee spotted an infringement, gifting the seven points and the game to the Dreigiau.

An encouraging performance for the development side, despite the loss, as many players sampled their only second or third taste of senior rugby
